Treating Anxiety
Anxiety affects so many parts of your life, making your world smaller and robbing you of small pleasures. We can help you understand the historical underpinnings (social anxiety, phobias, OCD) and learn strategies to reduce and manage your experience of symptoms and their impact on your life.

Managing Depression
Mood issues (depression, bipolar disorder, postpartum depression etc) can go undiagnosed or ignored and affect our ability to fully engage and experience our lives. We can help you better understand the origins of your symptoms and how they affect your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours while working on strategies to manage the impact in your life.


Healing from Trauma
(EMDR, Sensorimotor, IFS, DBT)
There are such varied experiences of painful experiences and traumas that change how we relate to the world and how safe we feel in it. Therefore we provide multiple approaches to trauma treatment from body-based somatic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, Sensorimotor psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, to Art therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. We work with a broad range of experiences including childhood attachment and cumulative trauma, the impact of childhood abuse and neglect, chronic and complex trauma (veterans, first responders etc) and inter-generational trauma experiences.

We can help you gain clarity in your attachment patterns that influence trust and security in relationships, explore self-defeating behaviours to keep from repeating unhelpful dynamics, and develop insight into patterns that affect your connection with yourself and others. Parenting support for navigating the ups and downs of the crazy parenting rollercoaster from stressful transitions with kids, co-parenting conflict, and supporting your child with anxiety, mood and emotional regulation issues, as well as with learning challenges or developmental disabilities.
