Clinical Psychologist

Competitive compensation and room to grow into a bigger role at the practice

Providing individual therapy to adults, children, and/or adolescents. Most of our referrals at present are for adults but we are diversifying.

Conducting assessments - your choice of psychodiagnostic, MVA, VAC, WSIB and/or ADHD assessments.

Supervision or consultation with others on the team and for team projects.
Qualifications and skills:
-
Registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario as a Psychologist, Candidates in supervised practice with CPO may also be considered.

Only independently licensed applicants who no longer need supervision with a minimum of 5 years of experience will be considered.

Direct clinical experience and training in evidence-based treatment approaches with an understanding and training trauma or the interest to upskill in this area.

Experience carrying out a variety of assessments.

Strong skills in formulation and case conceptualization

Excellent written and oral communication skills
-
Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, client-centered approach.

Ability to provide accurate, written detailed reports and verbally communicate findings, including diagnoses, in a clear, professional, and compassionate manner.

Flexibility and availability to meet client needs as part of a growing practice.
Candidates who are looking for part-time (minimum five clinical hours/week) or full-time positions will be considered.
